İVEK, with a field of activity covering Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy in particular and Health Sciences and Technologies in general, first emerged as the group of individuals in the Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy Agency. It was highly appreciated by the industry for her activities under the legacy of her name and history, and evolved from the field of drugs and pharmaceuticals into a form that covers all health stakeholders with stronger bonds in a more embracing fashion closer to her origins.
Furthermore, having observed the direct repercussions of improved conditions of health care industry on public health owing to the researches and works she conducted within all this period of time, İVEK has decided to focus on “the health of healthcare first” to achieve the goal of “health first”.
As a result, the İVEK Foundation, which not only feeds on her well-rooted history but also aims at creating value in field of Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacy, Health Sciences and Technologies with her young and dynamic structure, concluded her foundation process finally in 2016 after having served as a society for a decade by bringing together her well-experienced founders who gave direction to or influenced healthcare policies in Turkey and across the globe with all actors operating under the roof of healthcare concept. Thus, as a non-profit foundation, İVEK has set her working objective as being human-health oriented.
Within this framework, İVEK has been a gathering point for people who think, produce, research, develop and create added value for health. Serving as a connection point between public authorities and private sector, researchers and investors, and students and relevant professional groups, İVEK has become a hub that endeavours to achieve a sectoral sustainable state of well-being with remedy of shared wisdom by searching for treatment methods for halting points of healthcare. As a summary, İVEK, with her organisation in line with her mission and her strategical objective in accordance with her vision, is taking firm steps forward on the way to become a ‘point of reference’ in health with a view to fusing the bonds of communion of the past with those of the future.
